What we collect

When you ask for a quote or book a pickup, you give us:

• Your name, mobile number and email address.
• The address where the items are, and the type of place it is (house, apartment, office…).
• What you want removed — the list you type or say, any photos you attach, stairs and access details, and your notes.
• The day and arrival window you would like.

Our website also records, automatically:

• Your device’s IP address and browser type, used to keep the quote form safe from abuse.
• How you found us (the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link) so we know which advertising works.
• Anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics — which pages are viewed and which buttons are tapped. No names or contact details are sent to Analytics.

How we use it

• To give you an instant estimate and a firm price, and to schedule and carry out the job.
• To contact you about that job — by text, phone call or email — including confirmations, arrival updates and follow-ups such as a request for a review.
• To keep records of the jobs we have done, as any business must.
• To improve the website and our pricing, using figures that do not identify you.

We do not send marketing newsletters. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Who handles your information for us

Like any modern business we rely on a few service providers, each of which only processes your information to provide its service to us:

• Hosting and database — Render and Neon (United States) run the website and store quotes and jobs.
• Photos — photos you attach are stored with MediaLabs so our crew can view them; they are not made public or listed anywhere.
• Address lookup — as you type your address, Google Places suggests matches so we get it right.
• The list reader— the description you type of what is getting hauled is read by Google’s Gemini model to turn your words into a list of items for pricing. Only the description is sent — never your name, number or address.
• Email and texts — Resend delivers our emails and Telnyx delivers our text messages.
• Analytics and security — Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics; Cloudflare in front of the site.

Cookies

The quote builder saves your progress in your browser so you can pick up where you left off; it stays on your device. Google Analytics sets its usual cookies to tell visits apart. We use no advertising cookies of our own.

How long we keep it

Quote and job records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal and tax obligations. Photos are kept with the job they belong to. If you would like something deleted sooner, just ask.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we extend them to everyone. We will never treat you differently for exercising them. Children

Our services and website are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the page itself. See also our terms of service.
